仁 combines the person radical (亻) with 二 (two), often interpreted as the bond “between people.” In Confucian thought it denotes the highest moral virtue—empathy, kindness, and humane conduct toward others.

仁愛じんあいの心こころを持もつことが大切たいせつです。
It is important to have a heart of compassion.

仁者じんしゃは争あらそわない。
A benevolent person avoids conflict.
